In the subtropical islands of the Shengsi Archipelago in China, a fishing village lies abandoned, nestled between green mountains and the Yangtze River.
Nobody knows how long the village has been in decay, but year after year the ivy has marched on, covering every building in peaceful green.
Recently, the photographer Zhou Jie (known on Weibo and elsewhere online as Jane Green) discovered the serene overtaken village and shot these beautiful photos of what she saw.
She chose to keep the location of the village a secret so, for now, it will remain undisturbed.
