Being insignificant is hard to swallow.
We go through our lives fully immersed in the things that make us who we are; those things that make us unique, or part of a family, or that even let us make a difference. But in the end, we are nothing but tiny humans scattered across the immense landscape of the Earth.
These 26 photos show us 26 ways we are insignificant, but that isn’t a bad thing. We are all a part of this planet, just like the landscapes around us. We can become so bogged down in our day to day lives that it is possible to forget what we are a part of.
